Overview:
In 1992, the government of the Yugoslav Republic of Bosnia-Herzegovina declared its independence from Yugoslavia. Once Bosnia gained its independence, it caused a lot of tension between the nations of the used to be country. During the next few years, Bosnian Serbs, supported by the Serb-dominated Yugoslav army, targeted both Bosniak (Bosnian Muslims) and Cratian civilians. Most of the men we sent to concentration camps and the women were taken to rape camps. The Serbs were said to have been performing an "Ethnic Cleansing" that resulted in 100,000, and probably more, deaths.
